KJM Guardianship serves as a personal advocate for older adults. Our vast experience and our mindfulness of each unique individual combine to provide the person-centered, comprehensive guardianship and consulting services our clients deserve. The preservation of one’s dignity is at the forefront of every decision made regarding the person’s quality of life, health care, finances, and other life matters.
Guardianship:
A private guardian is a person appointed by the Probate Court to assume the responsibility for making decisions on behalf of another person whom the court has found is unable to make those decisions independently.* We hold ourselves to the highest standards of care. It is our duty to handle our clients' affairs with the same attention and care we would give our own.
Senior Care Consultants:
KJM Guardianship is available for families/caregivers to consult regarding the care needs of individuals. This is an opportunity for families to discuss concerns, problem solve, identify recommendations, and create long and short-term solutions. For families struggling with the difficult behaviors of a loved one, we provide coaching on methods that may accomplish a defined goal while circumventing resistance from the individual needing the assistance. We often become a part of the solution through our Geriatric Care Management services.
Fiduciary:
A fiduciary is an individual in whom another has placed the utmost trust and confidence to manage and administer assets.As fiduciary, we have an obligation to act in the best interest of our clients. This requires expertise, impartiality, and confidentiality. We place high value in our commitment, strict code of ethics, proficiencies, and professionalism.
